LoveGoBuy Size Guide: Compare the Dimension That Changes Your Choice

Compare LoveGoBuy clothing and accessory sizes using the right measurement, unit and option, then request the detail needed to decide rather than guessing from labels.

Updated

A size label is a starting point, not a measurement shared by every LoveGoBuy find. Identify which dimension matters to your choice, then compare it using the same method on the offer and a suitable reference you own. This is more useful than choosing a larger letter without knowing what changes.

Keep the chart with its exact product and option in your spreadsheet. Similar designs can have different proportions, so a table should not move between items simply because their pictures look alike.

Choose a reference for the way you will wear the item

For the orange polo with a navy collar, compare a top you wear in a similar way. A close base layer may not be the right reference if you want more room through the body. Think about length and sleeves as well as width.

Lay the reference garment flat without stretching it for an ordinary relaxed measurement. Record the unit and endpoints: a width across the underarms is more specific than a note saying only “chest.” Check whether the offer's chart uses that same definition.

The design reference does not establish composition or material behaviour. Do not create a shrinkage allowance from how the polo looks in a photograph.

Distinguish the body, flat width and circumference

Read chart headings and diagrams before comparing numbers. A recommended body measurement and a garment measurement describe different things. The garment's cut and the room you want still matter after the numbers are understood.

For an arithmetic example only, doubling a flat width of 52 cm gives 104 cm. That does not mean a garment with that width is recommended for a person with a 104 cm chest. Likewise, 21 inches converts to 53.34 cm, but the conversion is useful only if both figures describe the same dimension. Neither example is a measurement of the linked polo.

Use the appropriate question for accessories and sets

With the black baseball cap, ask which fit information belongs to the selected option and whether an adjustment range is actually specified. A black cap image does not answer those questions, and a clothing-size rule cannot supply the missing details.

For a coordinated set, consider top and bottom independently. For an elastic waist, distinguish a relaxed measurement from a stretched one. Comparing different conditions can create an apparent match that says little about the intended fit.

Ask for a readable measurement when necessary

If the decision depends on a dimension absent from the listing, formulate a precise request and check whether the procedure is available. State how the item should be positioned, where the tape should start and end and which unit you need.

A photograph of the label may confirm a selected label without providing garment dimensions. A tape with its starting point hidden also leaves the result uncertain. The QC guide explains the difference between a general appearance view and an image that answers a measurement question.

Recheck the option before committing

When deciding between two sizes, compare all relevant changes. More width may not solve insufficient length, and another cut may suit the need better. Height and weight alone do not capture everyone's proportions or preferences.

Use the links guide to keep the option and chart connected. Once the relevant question is resolved, continue through the buying guide rather than carrying an unexamined size assumption into the order.
